On 19th February 2009, the European Association fot Terminology organised at the Sorbonne University in Paris, a one-day seminar entitled "The terminology Profession and the Marketplace".

This seminar aimed to provide a European inventory on the responsibilities regarding the profession as well as the required abilities and aptitudes.
